Under our country’s prosperous veneer, there is a significant group of people struggling to survive. The St Vincent de Paul Society is deeply committed to assisting people in need and reaches out to millions of Australians every year through a range of services including home visitation; volunteer-run shops; youth programs; soup vans; assistance for asylum seekers and refugees; compeer programs for people experiencing mental illness; education and tutoring; accommodation services; and health services.
