For more than 30 years, our Italian Social Club has been bringing Italian culture, language and history to the Melbourne University community. Every year we hold events where our members meet, and take part in cultural activities such as antipasto lunches and gelati days, language sessions and workshops, film screenings, and traditional games days of scopa and bocce. In recent years, Nutella Donut Day has been an unforgettable success. In addition to on-campus events, we hold two larger events; a Boat Cruise in March and a Formal Gala Ball in September, organised by the Victorian Italian-Australian Tertiary Association (VITA). VITA is the representative body of all major Italian university clubs.
