Lanco Anpara Power Limited is a coal fired Thermal Power Plant won through competitive bidding under Electricity Act 2003, with two sub-critical units of 600 MW each located near Anpara in Uttar Pradesh state of India. Total Capacity : 2 X 600 MW (1200 MW) Fuel Source : Northern Coal Fields Water Source : Rihand reservoir Status : Unit 1 Operational since 10th December 2011 Unit 2 Operational since 18th January 2012.
