Leonard Cheshire is the UK’s largest voluntary sector provider of care services for disabled people and is the UK’s leading charity supporting disabled people. We provide over 200 different services that support disabled people to live independent lives, including seven residential and supported living services in Wales. In Wales we provide a range of support to help disabled people into employment or to acquire new skills such as our Changing Future programme, Change 100 programme and our Can Do programmes . We offer a range of housing with care, as well as support in people’s own homes. We also offer specialist support, such as rehabilitation services for people with brain injuries. 6,000 disabled people across all nations in the UK use our services. We believe that disabled people should have the freedom to live their lives the way they choose: with the opportunity and support to live independently, to contribute economically and to participate fully in society. Over the past year we have supported hundreds of disabled people across the country through high quality care and community support, and innovative projects focussed on education, employment and entrepreneurship. Worldwide, our global alliance of partners works in more than 50 countries.
