Located in the state of Guanajuato, Mazda de México Vehicle Operation (MMVO) was established in September 2011 as a joint venture between Mazda Motor Corporation and Sumitomo Corporation. Mass production began and was officially inaugurated in January 2014. MMVO is Mazda’s largest plant outside Japan, creating jobs for 5,200 employees. We proudly manufacture the Mazda3 and Mazda2; vehicles that adopt our revolutionary SKYACTIV Technologies that help to reduce the environmental impact of fuel emissions without compromising driving performance.
