Get contact recommendations from enriched records

This play builds on contacts you’ve already enriched with Lusha. It queries Salesforce for contacts that contain Lusha Contact IDs, uses those IDs to fetch AI-powered contact recommendations from Lusha, and automatically creates the recommended contacts back in Salesforce.

Instead of prospecting from scratch, you expand directly from profiles that already work—scaling your pipeline with contacts that match proven personas, seniority, and roles.

Why this works

Your best contacts already define what “good fit” looks like at the person level. But most teams never reuse that intelligence systematically.

This play turns enriched contacts into prospecting seeds, letting you:

  • Find similar roles and personas automatically
  • Expand buying committees and multi-thread accounts
  • Populate Salesforce with higher-quality contacts

All without manual research or list building.

What you get

  • Automated lookup of Lusha-enriched Salesforce contacts
  • AI-powered similar contact recommendations from Lusha
  • Automatic creation of new contacts in Salesforce
  • Consistent persona expansion across accounts
  • Faster pipeline generation from proven profiles

How to set it up

01

Prepare your Salesforce data

Ensure:

  • Contacts were previously enriched with Lusha
  • Lusha Contact ID is stored on the contact record

This ID is required to fetch recommendations.

02

Connect your apps in Make

Ensure active connections for:

  • Salesforce: permission to read and create contacts
  • Lusha: API access for contact recommendations
03

Define which contacts act as “seeds”

In the Salesforce search step, filter contacts by:

  • High-performing leads
  • Closed-won champions
  • Decision-makers or ICP personas

These contacts determine recommendation quality.

04

Configure contact recommendations

Control:

  • Number of recommended contacts per seed
  • Optional filters (seniority, role, geography)

This helps manage volume and relevance.

05

Create contacts in Salesforce

Map recommended fields such as:

  • Name
  • Job title
  • Company
  • Email (if available)
  • LinkedIn URL
  • Source = Lusha Contact Recommendation

Best practice: Use create-or-update logic (by email or LinkedIn) to prevent duplicates.

06

Test end-to-end

Run the scenario and confirm:

  • Seed contacts are detected correctly
  • Recommendations are returned
  • New Salesforce contacts are created cleanly

What to do next

  • Expand buying committees: Use recommendations to multi-thread existing target accounts.
  • Trigger outreach workflows: Enroll newly created contacts into Salesforce campaigns or sequences.
  • Score recommended contacts: Add a similarity or priority score for routing.
  • Segment by persona: Run separate scenarios for different ICP roles.
  • Track impact: Measure meetings and pipeline generated from recommended contacts.

The goal: Your best contacts shouldn’t be one-offs. This play turns Lusha-enriched Salesforce records into a repeatable contact expansion engine, automatically scaling high-fit prospecting directly inside your CRM.
