Wimmera UnitingCare is a not-for-profit, community service organisation based in the Wimmera region of Victoria. We are a community service agency of the Uniting Church network in Victoria and have offices in Horsham and Ararat. We support Wimmera communities by working with vulnerable children, youth and families and those living with mental illness or a disability. We provide housing support and deliver early learning and kindergarten services. Our programs are extensive and growing. Established as a single service provider in 1981, Wimmera UnitingCare now delivers almost 70 different programs and helps more than 8000 people every year. Our best resources are our people; more than 350 staff and 150 volunteers reach out all over the Wimmera, from Horsham to Hindmarsh, Northern Grampians to the West Wimmera, Yarriambiack and parts of Ararat Rural City. Wimmera UnitingCare continues to strive for improvement. Our programs and services are constantly measured against best practice principles and we are a direct service provider for a number of State and Federal government departments.
