The Association of Serviced Apartment Providers (ASAP) is the not for-profit trade body dedicated exclusively to champion the serviced apartment sector. Founded in 2002, ASAP has active members - serviced apartment operators operating over 100,000 serviced apartments globally. ASAP also works with 25 business partners. Through its member base ASAP has a presence globally and is recognised for representing the spectrum of views industry wide. Run as a fully participative trade representative body, all members play a vital role in the development and direction of the Association. Best practice and industry spokesmanship is achieved by sharing their experience and knowledge to achieve overall objectives of providing a high quality, transparent product for all customers. STR confirmed (summer 2018) that the sector represents 22,075 serviced apartments in the UK & Ireland with an approximate total value of £978 million.Expansion is rapid: over 2,000 new units are set to open in the UK by the end of 2018.
