The Brackenfell Shotokan Karate Academy is affiliated to the South African Shotokan Karate Academy (SASKA), started in 1990 under the leadership of Shihan Koos Burger (8th Dan). Our international affiliation is with UWK (United World Karate), WUKF (World United Karate-do Federation) and ISKS (The International Shotokan Karate-do Shihan Kai).
