Established in 2020, the Cape Town Tigers is a South African basketball club based in Cape Town. The Tigers are the only club created to compete in the Basketball Africa League (BAL) with a global vision to become the #1 basketball powerhouse in South Africa, on the continent and beyond. The Tigers are well on their way as they are the 2X South African National Basketball Club Champions (2021, 2022); qualified for The BAL Season 2 in their first year reaching the 2022 quarterfinals; and currently preparing to compete in The BAL Season 3 starting in March 2023.
