Private speech coaching sessions are led by Allyson Plumberg, a certified speech-language pathologist who has been working in the field of communication sciences since 2011. Allyson has completed over 350 speech coaching sessions with individuals from across the globe, and from a variety of professions. Her clients have included university students, medical doctors, professors, lawyers, entrepreneurs, IT professionals, researchers, scientists, architects and musicians. Currently Allyson uses the General American English accent in her coaching. This is also known as the Standard American English Accent, and is a very neutral and widely-spoken version of American English. Our goal is never to eliminate a client's natural accent (unless that is THEIR personal goal), but rather to help them reach their greatest communication potential in a variety of speaking environments.
