Women In Media (WIM Global) is a Community Partner of Influencing Action Movement, a 501c3 organization officially launched in Philadelphia during the Spring of 2013 in response to the false depiction of women within the Philadelphia arts industry. We encourage women to own their voices and to utilize the power of their stories to advocate for change. What started out as one half day workshop for women held at Temple University, has transpired into an entire organization and annual conference investing in the lives of women. We are a Global Community of Professionals whose mission is to Empower, Equip, and Encourage women to own their voices. We work with women who are already in the media, communications, and entertainment arts industry, as well as those who aspire to enter it.
