Lutz Real Estate Investments (“LREI”) is a fully integrated real estate organization with a history that spans for more than fifty years. Throughout its history, the firm has positioned itself to profit despite the cyclical nature of real estate by investing in diverse property types and geographic locations. LREI targets somewhat older properties that are within walking distance to campus, at universities with at least 10,000 students and a favorable number of university controlled beds. To date, LREI owns and operates more than 2,900 beds at five major universities around the country. LREI continues to exuberantly pursue future existing asset purchases and aims to exceed the 5,000 bed goal within the five-year time frame as previously determined by the LREI executive team.
