THE OPPORTUNITY – An exciting, growing technology business Currently, the majority of cafes, coffee shops and lunch venues lack the resources to offer a digital ordering platform. They inefficiently process cash and card payments, creating queues that result in customer dissatisfaction. Busy people are demanding change – they want to stop wasting time and have their regular orders ready and waiting for them! THE SOLUTION – Innovative, efficient, reliable The Ordoo app enables customers to order and pay in advance at their favourite cafes and coffee shops – beating the queue and earning loyalty rewards. Our novel ‘touch & collect’ mobile ordering system simultaneously boosts sales and improves outlet efficiency. Through innovating existing ordering processes, Ordoo aims to save everyone valuable time everyday. THE MARKET – Diverse and expanding Ordoo is initially targeting independent cafes and coffee shops, which account for 2/3 of the 20,728 total UK outlets. Overall, industry sales grew 10% to £7.9bn turnover in 2015. The ‘touch & collect’ system is transposable to other markets and we are exploring lunch venues, bars, theatres and festivals. Ordoo will be the universal mobile ordering interface for the food and drink industry! We take a fair commission on the value we’ve created. TRACTION AND ROLL OUT – Retention and growth evident Since our launch in January 2016, the system is live in loads of amazing venues (see the app for an updated list). There have been strong signs of customer retention and satisfaction.
