www.lionrockinstitute.orgThe Lion Rock Institute's mission is to promote free market thought in Hong Kong through: a direct and demonstrable impact on government policy; educate policy makers, active political participants and the general public on the benefit of adopting free market values in building a prosperous Hong Kong; and promote Hong Kong's best free market practices to the world. The Institute gets involved in all policy initiatives in Hong Kong, but the majority of its efforts go towards its policy priorities, which are in no particular order: Broadcasting and Telecom, Town Planning, Transportation, Housing and Re / Development, Fiscal Management, Competition Law, Social Mobility, Minimum Wage, Education, Health Care, and Financial Services. The Institute has a number of great successes and its work has become very well known in government and legislative circles as well as in the media and the broader public. Lion Rock endeavours to educate and change policy within Hong Kong through advocacy towards Legislative Counsel members and submissions and meetings with policymakers and government officials. We also seek to educate the broader public with columns and publications in print media, tv and radio appearances and interviews. We educate our youth by giving school lectures, internships and writing contests. We hold activities for all walks of society in the form of Happy Hours, Luncheons, Cocktails, closer door briefings, debates and guest speakers. We invite you to join us!
