Kuwait United Dairy Company was formed in 1985, Pioneered by reputed Kuwaiti families of Jasim Abdul Aziz Al-Qatami, Yaqub Yusuf Al-Homaizi and Mishari Zaid Al-Khalid. The board is now headed by Mr. Mohd Jasim AlQatami, Mr. Hazim Mishari Alkhalid and Mr. Mohd Khalid AlHomaizi. As of now the farm has about 3,000 heads of cattle, out of which 1900 are milking-cows. 35 tons of concentrated milk is produced daily in winter and 25 Tons in Summer. The farm is now being further modernized under the leadership of Eng. Rakan H. Kharisat the new Manager for farms and dairy. Strength of work-force stands at 85 including admin, technical, veterinary and general. The milking is completely computerized according to the latest farm technologies, and the cows are fed by automatic foragers.
