Aeroporti di Roma, an Atlantia Group company, manages and develops Rome Fiumicino and Ciampino airports. In 2020, Fiumicino’s Leonardo da Vinci airport has been named “Best Airport Award 2020" by ACI Europe. For the fourth consecutive year, Leonardo da Vinci was confirmed as the number one European hub with over 40 million passengers. The award adds to the recognition by Airports Council International World which, for the third year in a row, awarded Leonardo da Vinci the "Airport Service Quality 2019" award as the busiest airport in Europe among hubs with more than 40 million passengers. ADR's management capacity is also confirmed by the awards received in 2019 from Skytrax, the leading international rating and assessment company for the airport sector, which confirmed the 4 Skytrax stars obtained by Fiumicino Airport in 2017. In 2020, for its commitment and the efficiency of the measures implemented to face the Covid-19 pandemic, Rome-Fiumicino International Airport was awarded by Skytax a 5 STAR rating, the first airport to ever receive such recognition globally. Also in 2020, UNWTO has recognised ADR’s long-standing commitment to sustainability, which is integrated into the business model to create economic, social and environmental value with the LEADERSHIP IN SUSTAINABILITY AND COMMITMENT TO RESPONSIBLE TRAVEL award.
