The Danish Society of Engineers, IDA is a professional body and trade union for technical and scientific professionals as well as students. IDA has more than 130.000 members, and represents the interests of employees, managers, the self-employed and pensionists within the fields of pay and employment, the labour market, industrial policy, skills, careers and training, the working environment, technology and research. The chairperson of IDA is Laura Klitgaard. While she is on maternity leave from 2022/2023, Aske Nydam Guldberg is acting chairperson.
