Xiamen Airlines started in 1984 with its headquarters seated in Xiamen City of Fujian Province on the southeastern coast of China. It was China’s first airline company operating under the modern enterprise system. After 34 years of growth, Xiamen Airlines has turned into one of China’s most distinguished airline companies with unique features. With a debt-to-assets ratio of 60%, the total assets of Xiamen Airlines have amounted to RMB 42 billion, of which RMB 17.9 billion are net assets. Over the years, Xiamen Airlines has been committed to securing safe operations and improving customer services. With the record of over 3.5 million safe flying hours, Xiamen Airlines has been accredited as “the Best Airline in Mainland China” for 3 straight years throughout 2012-2015 by the Civil Aviation Passenger Service Evaluation (CAPSE). In 2016, Xiamen Airlines won the China Quality Award, which is the highest award in the field of quality control. We are honored to be the first enterprise within the service industry and the only airline in Mainland China to win such award.
