SUN Non-Profit Consulting e.V. is the non-profit, student consultancy of the Nordakademie. True to our motto "You help people, we will help you!" we consult non-profit organizations, institutions and associations, primarily in northern Germany. SUN was founded in 2001 by students of the FH NORDAKADEMIE in Elmshorn. Our members and consultants study one of four dual degree programs: Business Administration, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering or Applied Computer Science. By combining theory and practice, our consultants benefit from both their professional experience, as well as an excellent academic training. In consulting projects from an average of eight to twelve weeks, we support our customers in all business issues and help them to achieve their desired goals. Our interdisciplinary project teams guarantee a holistic approach and are put together according to the needs and demands of our customers. Due to the diversity and expertise of our consultants, we were able to win the prestigious award "Project of the Year" of the JCNetwork e.V. in 2006, 2012, 2013 and 2015. This prize is awarded annually by a jury composed of professionals originating from the Consulting area. In 2015 the jury was for example composed of consultants from Volkswagen Consulting.
