Todd Energy Canada Limited (TEC) is a wholly owed subsidiary or the Todd Corporation, a private, 100% New Zealand owned and operated corporation. Todd Corporation is a leading energy producer and provider focused on meeting New Zealand’s energy demands well into the future. Todd Energy holds interests in producing fields that account for some 90% of New Zealand’s annual hydrocarbon production and is one of New Zealand's leading energy producers. In 2014, Todd, through its subsidiary TEC, acquired a 50% working interest in a liquids rich gas project in the Birch area located in N.E. British Columbia. The project will seek to appraise and develop gas & liquids from the Montney formation of the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin. TEC assumed operatorship of the joint venture in early 2015. Following the appraisal phase in 2015 and with the financial backing of parent Todd Corporation, the company intends to initiate a multi-year development program.
