We’re Oxford’s largest professional producing theatre company, specialising in digital, and site-specific inventive theatre in extraordinary locations. Creation Theatre are leading the creative response to Covid-19 through strikingly innovative use of digital performance tools to perform live interactive theatre. Our online drama clubs for children ages 5-16 are LIVE, interactive and engaging. We explore a classic story every week using interactive storytelling and roleplay. You don’t need a theatre building to make great theatre. The magic happens in many places! We seek out places that have never been used for theatre before, and bring them to life. Our shows are beautiful, ugly, fast, furious, wacky, twisted, surprising, spooky, magical, daring, haunting, challenging, inspiring, hilarious, sexy, sassy, cheeky…but never predictable. 25 years, 70 shows, 500,000 audience members aged 5-95…we are Oxford’s own Creation Theatre Company.
