Paula Nutting – Your Musculoskeletal Specialist – has over 30 years’ experience in health and massage, specializing in musculoskeletal therapy since 2007. She has lectured on various diploma and degree subjects, as well as coordinated and designed units of study for the vocational and higher education arenas. Paula has been published in numerous journals and text books, as well as authoring her own series of books. She has presented courses, seminars and workshops in Australia and internationally on musculoskeletal dysfunction, instability of the core, acute and chronic muscle imbalance and many muscle and joint techniques. She also owns and operates a successful remedial massage therapy clinic in the north of Brisbane… Musculoskeletal Treatment: Specializing in the state-of-the-art assessment of... a) muscle activation and efficiency for strength and length, plus nerve conduction, and b) evaluating the timing of muscles so that optimal length between the bones (especially the spine) is achieved. Paula’s expertise is in finding the root cause of the condition by specializing in remedial assessments and treating with techniques to soften the muscles, tendons, and connective tissue, nerve activation and joint alignment. Remedial Massage: For the treatment of general conditions involving tightness and pain to the muscles, limbs and joints. Paula has served as a National Director with the Australian Association of Massage Therapists (AAMT) from 2006 to 2010 and 2015, and is current taking on various roles, including Vice President and President. She was also Chair on the Ethics Committee and is currently Chair of the Education Committee. She has been involved in the National Health Practitioners of Canada/AAMT governance and strategic planning, and is a past Director on the Board of the Australian Massage Research Foundation (AMRF).
