Helping to break the cycle of poverty by supporting quality affordable healthcare of children under six so that parents can return to work. Devotion To Children (DTC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to fulfilling the needs of children ages birth to six, so that they may become mentally, physically and emotionally healthy members of society. Founded in 1994 in Falls Church, Virginia, DTC has collaborated with many like-minded organizations in the provision of childcare, health and educational services for needy families and their children. Both working and unemployed families need access to affordable, quality preschool, daycare, health and educational services unavailable to them without outside assistance. Devotion identifies those needs, and works to fulfill them. Devotion to Children (DTC): Founded in 1994 in Northern Virginia by a small group of dedicated volunteers DTC has become a leading non-profit organization in developing solutions to childcare issues for children under six. DTC remains entirely a volunteer organization and remains committed to having 100% of money raised go to charity. We currently support 6 center in Virginia. APPROACH: Education and Awareness: DTC seeks to educate the public about the importance of early childhood education and raise awareness of the shortage of affordable, high-quality educational and childhood services currently available. Funding: DTC seeks to raise money to provide funding for quality childcare and early childhood educational programs for families in need. Partnership: DTC seeks to collaborate with organizations with similar missions and goals.
