In April 2019 with the support of Leicester City Council, we took over a city centre venue (St Margaret's Pastures) and are currently redeveloping the site so that the whole club can be based there. We changed our name to Leicester City Hockey Club to reflect our new home. We have 8 senior teams (5 women, 3 men) and many junior teams offering competitive hockey from local leagues and cups up to National League levels. We welcome players, umpires, coaches and supporters of all ages and abilities and always accommodate everyone who would like to pick up a stick. We gained our Clubmark in 2017 which is accredited by England Hockey and offer a safe and supportive environment for all our players to develop and thrive as hockey players and individuals. We offer sponsorship and advertising packages to companies and professional groups and would be very happy to discuss packages that may suit your budget and brand.
