Rocketeer Couriers have developed a mobile application that provides businesses with a crowdsourced courier service. Its interface is friendly to use, and it has a high loyalty rate. Founder Mark Dance was working in the natural resource sector where he encountered challenges with delivering essential supplies. Often he resorted to hiring town locals to carry out transport in exchange for beer. Desperate times called for drastic actions. Having left the industry to be closer to his family in Hobart, the logistics pain point that Mark had to tackle frequently became the Rocketeer Courier mission. Over two years of concept development, 70,000 km of courier driving, 30,000 packages delivered and after 12 months of software development, Mark finally had a working version of his mobile application. The app was born out of a desire to make the whole process seamless and today; we have over 200 drivers with 60 of them active at any one-time servicing Hobart. Rocketeer operate 24/7 and can deliver everything from furniture to food within 1 hour locally. Across a sample of 2000 deliveries we have an average delivery time of 42 minutes. Our software provides direct access to our fleet of drivers and provides all delivery deatils and contacts for the duration of the delivery to create a seamless delivery experience. With live tracking for the sender and reciever our customers can monitor thier cargo at all times.
