About Us Urban Catalyst Psychotherapy is a group practice that provides high quality, culturally-competent mental health services. Our Story: Two independent, solo therapy practices have come together to form a group practice. We have centered our work on the African Proverb that “If you want to go quickly, go alone. If you want to go far, go together” . Our shared vision is to embody this principle of community and collective support to deliver high quality services to our clients, and preferred life / work balance for our therapists. Our goal is to create a group practice that is sustainable, supportive, warm, and accessible for both our clients and therapists. Formerly known as, Urban Health Counseling + Catalyst Counseling, we are happy to now serve as Urban Catalyst Psychotherapy. Vision: Our vision is to eliminate mental health stigma and spark the change within people and the greater community for emotional wellness. Mission: To reflect the diversity of the intersectional communities we live in, while keeping in mind the individual’s unique expression of self.
