North East Mobile Health Services was founded in 1999. Still owned and operated by its original owner, NEMHS has grown and now services coastal Maine from Sanford to Rockport. In addition to providing inter-facility ambulance transports, NEMHS offers wheelchair van transports, municipal 911 response and event medicine coverage. As the largest EMS service in the State, NEMHS advocates to advance the profession. NEMHS focuses on education with CEH classes, CPR training and yearly paramedic scholarships.
