The Metropolitan Safety Council helps individuals, businesses and associations reduce the risk of injury and death from preventable causes. We offer defensive driving courses, first aid/CPR, occupational safety & health courses and professional development programs. We also have consulting services, particularly helpful to small businesses who may not have a full time safety professional. We participate on several coalitions to promote safety in schools, community groups and civic organizations. Our office is in Metairie, just outside New Orleans.
