Ajuma Foundation was founded by Ajuma Nasanyana, an international model born in Turkana, Kenya. She has graced many fashion shows across the globe, featured in editorial work and advertising campaigns. Ajuma has endorsed top fashion designers as well as cosmetic brands. Upon returning to Kenya and starting her own agency she wanted to give back to her Turkana community as well as support those who seek aid at Kakuma Refugee Camp from their war-ridden countries. To provide them with the opportunity to change their fate in life, like she got the same chance all those many years ago.
