The Hilliard is one of the most important educational resources in Louisiana. The Museum not only presents compelling and important artwork to south Louisiana, but also brings insightful and interesting artists and scholars to a broad audiences. The Hilliard also uses existing artistic and intellectual capital of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette to establish the Museum as a vital resource for University students, educators, families, youth, and life-long learners in Acadiana.
