ncst.ucdavis.eduThe National Center for Sustainable Transportation (NCST) is a consortium of leading universities committed to advancing an environmentally sustainable transportation system through cutting-edge research, direct policy engagement, and education of our future leaders. NCST is one of five National University Transportation Centers established by U.S. Department of Transportation. The National Center’s research program targets high-priority transportation issues for government, industry, and community leaders. Research initiatives are organized into three areas: • Low-carbon infrastructure and efficient system operation • Low-impact travel and sustainable land use • Advancing zero-emission vehicle and fuel technologies Across all our research we will identify and evaluate best practices for institutional change. The University of California, Davis, is leading the consortium in partnership with the University of California, Riverside; the University of Southern California; California State University, Long Beach; Georgia Institute of Technology; and the University of Vermont.
