We are amid the 2020 Global COVID-19 Pandemic, which has fueled an increase in cybercrime, in part, due to remote work and lack of security of work-from-home (WFH) devices. Every year, approximately 200,000 men and women leave U.S. military service and return to life as civilians, a process known as the military to civilian transition. Veteran unemployment up to nearly 12 percent amid coronavirus crisis. With cybercrime on the rise and vulnerabilities constantly being exposed, it is imperative that organizations take a proactive stance to protecting assets and employing skilled cybersecurity professionals. There are many options currently available for free cyber security training for veterans. So why is Cyber Ohana Project different?
