The Islander Group was founded in 1975 as "Pacific Trade Group" to address the supply chain challenges of operating a business in one of the most geographically isolated places on earth, Hawaii. Since its founding, The Islander Group has grown from a specialty distributor to one of the largest, independent distributors of general merchandise in the state of Hawaii.
