A Fairer Chance is a non-profit organisation set up in London in 2011 to put into practice our unique but simple business model, making the case for employing people with convictions or other perceived barriers to finding work. Since that time we have moved over 700 people into entry-level positions, quality apprenticeships and into skilled and graduate roles. We help people become active, contributing members of society, with increased levels of self-confidence and independence. We count a number of household names across a wide range of sectors amongst the companies for whom we provide talented, hardworking and loyal employees. A Fairer Chance work closely with these employers to demonstrate the value of employing the individuals who we screen, risk-assess, match for suitability and send to interview, motivated and prepared for work. Our high levels of success at interview reveal the bespoke service that we provide; employers grow their companies with the people with the right skills and attitudes, whilst people are given the fairer chance they deserve.
