Salem Sound Coastwatch is an environmental nonprofit committed to coastal resiliency, field research and watershed education in Beverly, Danvers, Manchester-by-the-Sea, Marblehead, Peabody, Salem, and across the North Shore of Massachusetts. Our ongoing initiatives include: School to Sea, Field Research & Studies, Municipal Guidance, and Community Engagement. School to Sea: Connecting students and educators to ecosystems in their communities. Field Research & Studies: Monitoring water quality, coastal habitats, and invasive species. Municipal Guidance: Working with local towns & cities to take local actions. Community Engagement: Engaging volunteers every year to collect local data and take action.
