British Film Editors is a non-profit association of accomplished editors and assistants working in all genres of the UK Film, TV & Streaming industries. British Film Editors: • Celebrate and achieve recognition for the art and craft that editors bring to storytelling in all its forms. • Champion the work of its established members and nurture new talent. • Bring together editing professionals so they can share their experience and practices. • Run a mentoring scheme to match less experienced individuals with members who can share their industry insights and wisdom gained over the years. • Host events including fortnightly interviews with editors from across the globe, members- only screenings, industry discussions, awards-season events and networking sessions Experienced UK based editors are invited to join as full or associate members.
