Grace Cares
www.grace-cares.comGrace Cares 11.11 CIC, trading as Grace Cares, is a not-for-profit organisation which has been set up to support older people and care workers across the UK. We collect, donate, and sell pre-loved care equipment to enhance people’s quality of life, support care workers and older people in need and leave a better planet for future generations. We also support the local community by putting on monthly tea parties for the over 75’s which provide vital, life-enhancing social connections for older people at a time in their lives when their social circles are diminishing. “I have some care equipment I’d like to get rid of…” We will collect care equipment that is within 25 miles of our headquarters in Lichfield – you’ll either meet our Co-founder Adam, retired Paramedic Johnny or Handyman retired builder Laurence. This will be at no charge to you, so you save the money you’d have spent on a waste removal company or paying to dispose of the item at a waste site. We love getting support by retired individuals that still want to help others. If you know of anyone who might want to volunteer, please let us know. Grace Cares Fund All of our profits go back to support care workers and service users via our Grace Cares fund. The reason we set up Grace Cares was to help those who need it the most. Through the Grace Cares fund, we offer one-off support grants for care workers and service users in need. This might be as they require care equipment, can’t afford their utilities bills, or are battling mental health issues and need support. It doesn’t matter what the need is for, just as long as it is genuine. You will also see us topping up the Grace Cares fund with various fund-raising initiatives. If you want to get involved or have any fab ideas to raise funds and awareness, please let us know! If you have any equipment you don’t need - Let’s chat. Care is at the heart of everything we do 💚
