We provide person to person services to Dane County neighbors in need, without regard for their race, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation or religious preference. During fiscal year 2021, families and individuals across Dane County received food, medicine, vaccinations, personal-care items, cleaning supplies, housing, counseling support, clothing, furniture, household goods, rent and utility assistance, and more worth about $2.89 million. We are one of the most cost-effective providers of services to the low-income population in our area, including families, the elderly, persons with disabilities, the homeless, and the mentally ill. Significant percentages of our clientele are from an underserved, low-income minority population.
