Steyning Town Community Football Club is accredited with the FA Standard Charter. It has been awarded Sussex FA Community Club of the Year for 2015 and 2016. It is run by volunteers and continues to strive for exceptional standards. One of the longest running Football Clubs in Sussex, the club was formed in 1892 and has a rich and successful history with our Men's First Team getting promoted and winning the divisional cup whilst our Reserve Team won the WSFL Division League all in 2018/19. The Men's 1st team currently play in the Southern Combination Football League Premier Division and our Women's 1st Team play in the South East Counties Womens League Div 1 West. The club runs over 20 teams and it has a state of the art floodlit 3G pitch at The Birchwood Ground, Shooting Field, Steyning.
