Bureau Stadsnatuur is the urban ecology research department of the Natural History Museum Rotterdam. It is an independent professional organisation, delivering consultancy nation wide. Urban ecology is the main focus, but other ecological topics aren't neglected. Although the team is small, the unique composition of specialized staff members ensures a wide range of knowledge on ecology, species recognition, research methods, legislation and education.
