Simply Jikiden Reiki is a branch of the Jikiden Reiki Institute in Kyoto right here in Scotland. Training in Jikiden Reiki provides a unique opportunity to learn Reiki in its original, simple and unaltered form: an effective treatment method for physical conditions and emotional issues. Our seminars replicate the style and content of those held by Chujiro Hayashi, who was one of the most promiment students of the founder of Reiki practice, Mikao Usui. All Jikiden Reiki teachers teach the same curriculum, which is determined by the head of the Jikiden Reiki Institute in Kyoto, Tadao Yamaguchi, whose mother had learned Reiki from Dr. Hayashi, a naval officer and medical doctor, in 1938. I began training with Mr. Yamaguchi in 2006 and became the first fully qualified Jikiden Reiki teacher in Scotland in 2009. It is a privilege to pass on this elegant healing method in its orginal Japanese clarity and simplicity. I have thriving clinics in Galashiels in the Scottish Borders and in Peeblesshire, where I treat clients with a variety of physical and emotional issues.
