Struggling Readers Bright Futures

www.learningenabledkids.com

We change lives and make dreams possible by helping people overcome reading challenges. A staggering 67% of kids that finish school reading at an age level that is acceptable for a 12-year old or below. That’s 2/3 of our kids and that’s not near good enough. There is no good reason for these people slipping through the cracks. We can easily identify struggling readers with a reading assessment. Struggling readers fall into two groups the bottom 20% and other kids in the 67% that are slipping through the cracks. The bottom 20% of struggling readers usually have one or more of three neurological challenges, phonological dyslexia, fluency dyslexia or a working memory challenge. There are often times contributing factors that include poor literacy fundamentals, ADD, ADHD, Autism etc. Unfortunately, schools are not we structured to support these kids in their learning challenge. Most of these kids there is nothing wrong with them. Their brain is just unique and learns in a manner unique to their brain so they need to be taught how their brain can learn. Schools have too many kids to support and the bottom 20 percents unique needs. Our team and tools can help these kids and their families overcome these challenges. These same techniques work for the kids slipping through the crack too. If you believe your child is struggling with reading please get them assessed.
