Little Fighting Hearts Foundation raises money to support research of Congenital Heart Defects. Nearly 1 in 100 babies is born with a heart defect in the United States, that is about 4,800 babies each year. Of those numbers about 1 in 4 babies born with a heart defect has a critical CHD. It is estimated that more the 2 million individuals are living with Congenital Heart Defects in the United States. This is a prevalent problem that has received limited funding thus far. The Little Fighting Hearts Foundation is working to change that. Congenital Heart Defects is the most common birth defect and these sweet babies need our help. Our mission is to not only help change the quality of life of these sweet babies but to also find the cause of Congenital Heart Defects. Doctors and Scientist are working diligently to solve this problem and help these babies live better lives. With more funding they would be able to find better ways to treat and fix these defects.
