The Community Food Bank in Grand Junction has been committed to feeding those in need in Mesa County since 1978. Our mission is to provide nutritious food to individuals and families in crisis. There are no income qualifications or other restrictions on who is eligible to receive a 3-day supply of emergency food. Our open approach to food distribution allows us to help you when you need it most. When you experience unplanned expenses or your employment status changes suddenly – help is here for you and your family. Up to nine times a year, individuals and families can receive food from the Community Food Bank. Those over age 60 can visit the Community Food Bank twelve times in a calendar year.
