Unconsenting Media

Unconsenting Media is a non-profit organisation run entirely by volunteers, with its origins at the University of Cambridge. Our primary aim is to develop and publicise a crowdsourced search engine for scenes containing sexual violence in films and television shows. The intention of this is to allow people - especially survivors of rape and sexual assault - to make more informed choices about what they watch, rather than potentially being taken by surprise by graphic scenes.
