Welcome to The Homeless Film Festival! We're a charity using one of the world's biggest industries to tackle one of the world's biggest social issues. The Homeless Film Festival has been voted as one of the top 15 touring film festivals in the world by The Audience Awards. We tour the UK every year between 1st - 14th Nov and also include live international link ups and aim to work with partners worldwide. We're also delighted our patrons include multi award winning director Lenny Abrahamson and BAFTA winning, Oscar nominated actress / director Samantha Morton. Our festival features all genres across features, documentaries, shorts and from this year, mobile content too. Through film we raise awareness of the diverse causes of homelessness in the UK and worldwide. We create audiences that may not otherwise engage with this content and encourage dialogue for positive change, action and understanding. We showcase talent, support the film industry as a vital and valuable platform, include Q&As with talent and special events, run skills workshops for homeless affected people and connect with amazing life changing people, charities and organisations. We are building our board of trustees and welcome new expertise as we develop sponsorship, funding, marketing, mobile content and our online strategy.
