Family owned and operated, the Sharpless and Sharpless tradition continued for many years under the leadership of Bill Sharpless, a graduate of Pennsylvania State University and a United States Army veteran. Mr. Sharpless began his insurance career as an underwriter with various insurance companies in Philadelphia, before joining his father at Sharpless and Sharpless Insurance in 1967. At the end of 2014, Mr. Sharpless retired, handing the reins to licensed property casualty insurance agent Jennifer Newman. A veteran of the firm, Ms. Newman joined Sharpless and Sharpless Insurance in 1994, assisting clients with both personal and commercial accounts.
