Founded by Dr. Richard A. Neubauer as the Ocean Medical Center in 1972, the Neubauer Hyperbaric Neurologic Center has been dedicated to the ethical use of Hyperbaric Oxygen therapy in a variety of conditions. Dr. Neubauer was a pioneer in the use of hyperbaric oxygen in neurologic conditions and has published in his findings in international journals and conferences. After his death in 2007, the Ocean Hyperbaric Neurologic Center changed its name to "Neubauer Hyperbaric Neurologic Center". His legacy and devotion to hyperbaric medicine is survived by his family who continue to operate his practice following his principles.
