Our culinary team, helmed by chef/owner Nicholas Mineo and Executive Chef Michael Simpson, is passionate about gourmet cuisine - made evident by both their fine attention to detail and their emphasis on fresh flavors that intrigue the pallet. Opened in 2008 by Nicholas Mineo, Sausalido's name was inspired by combining the names of the small, intimate community of Sausalito in Northern California and the name of Mineo's grandfather, Lido. By providing Pittsburgh and its local neighborhood of Bloomfield with fresh ingredients, local produce, family values, and exceptional service, Sausalito certainly lives up to its name. While our bistro has specific hours, our full-service catering is available daily from 7am - 9pm and serves breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner.
